Cavalier Attilio Ceruti founded Trafileria Ceruti in 1960. At the beginning it was just a small drawing mill, but over the years it has grown remarkably in size and at present it covers an area of 20.000 sqm. Thanks to our commitment and the quality and services we offer, we have grown in importance both nationally and internationally. We manufacture cold-drawn alloyed and micro-alloyed carbon steel tubes in accordance with the European norm EN 10305.

By investing constantly in cutting-edge technological solutions we are able to offer high quality products, working safely and respecting the environment. We purchase the raw material in order to meet all our customers’ requirements, minimizing delivery times.

As a result of the quality of our products, professionalism and reliability, Trafileria Ceruti is now aiming at the international market, not only as a mere supplier of cold drawn tubes but also as a valid and efficient Partner.

EN 10305-2 | Ext. Diameter from 20 to 230 mm – Thickness from 2 to 15 mm

Main applications:

Mechanical applications

We manufacture cold drawn precision tubes for mechanical applications in accordance with European norms. Our tubes are manufactured by a system ensuring very close dimensional tolerances and various types of final heat treatments. Such products can be used for machinery construction as defined by the “Machinery Directive 98/37/EC”

Hydraulic applications

We manufacture cold-drawn tubes for hydraulic cylinders in accordance with the European norms. In accordance with the norms we can manufacture and supply tubes with different internal and external allowances and tolerances, for various uses:

HPZ with allowance for grinding
HPZ with allowance for rolling
HP with tolerance ISO H8 rolled or polished
HPK with allowance on the outer diameter suitable for both grinding and chrome plating

Automotive applications

We supply products for the Automotive market according to customers’ specifications. All our products undergo Total Quality Control, and are therefore suitable for the most varied applications. Main applications:

Technology

We apply the most modern and sophisticated production systems. Our production process ensures accurate product traceability, as required by the ISO 9001:2015 certification. We also have a modern testing laboratory for the issue of quality certificates according to EN 10204, and non-destructive tests (NDT) which can be carried out in line.
Our production is supported by an information Network, where every machine involved in the production process is monitored. Hence the product can be followed step by step up to the final shipment.
